If you appreciate the work, I request that you submit the link to other related reddits (like indiegaming) if you can. * Crane Wars (requires Unity Web Player) * Cursed Treasure - A simple tower defense game for both the casual and the obsessive hardcore. * The last stand 2 Zombie survival horror. Highly recommended!
My favorite game is Agonia Lands, a browser-based MMO/RPG featuring diverse factions and tribes, with a strong emphasis on PvP. However, it also offers extensive quests, PvE content, and various mechanics like gathering, terraforming, and construction. Despite its simple appearance, the game boasts deep mechanics suitable for both casual gaming ...
Surviv.io or battledudes.io if you're in to shooters. sketchful.io is the same as scrible, but a little bit better. Better controls, better words, etc. shellshock.io is simple little shooter game that's surprisingly fun, if you get into a lobby where you're not just constantly killing 10 year olds over and over.
The core gameplay barely makes sense, as well. It's not clear why certain numbers go up and the progression is extremely linear. You can play it slow, but it'll be slow. I still think it's worth checking out because it has a lot of charm and some cute sprites. But manage your expectations, this game is long.
Xcloud is exactly that AAA browser experience. That said, there are still those type of casual browser games even at the death of Flash, like Townscaper, PICO-8 games like the original Celeste Classic, Unsolicited by Lucas Pope, Geoguessr, FreeCiv... Shapez.io is a browser version of factorio that’s quite nice.
Thanks friend. Not sure how much «aimed at kids» Newgrounds ever was, but Armor Games is still up and running. A large chunk of «back catalogue» is sadly gone, but there are still plenty of newer games, all in-browser. Ya I agree Newgrounds had plenty of adult content.

Gaming. I’ve started to realize that I spend a lot more time on my computer/laptop than any other electronic device. I enjoy doing the daily games you can find around the internet but I just can’t seem to find any other good web browser games. Anyone out there know any good ones that are fun and to cure my boredom? 1.
AdventureQuest Worlds was one I always enjoyed. Little bit of a necropost, but I'm 1 of 2 developers of a free browser mmorpg called Mirage Online Classic. It can be found at https://www.MirageOnlineClassic.com. It is completely free to play and is actively developed for it's niche community.
