In April 1969, Ed is involved in a traffic accident that causes Margie Wexler, one of Sara's pregnant patients, to have a miscarriage and lose her and her husband's child. Guiding Light (known as The Guiding Light before 1975) is an American radio and television soap opera. Guiding Light aired on CBS for 57 years between June 30, 1952, and September 18, 2009, overlapping a 19-year broadcast on radio between January 25, 1937, and June 29, 1956. [ 1 ]
After giving birth to a still-born baby at age 19, she found spiritual comfort listening to sermons by a preacher of a church centered on the brotherhood of man.
