Michael Powell (born October 29, 1982) is an American former professional lacrosse player who was a four-time First Team All-American at Syracuse University, played professional lacrosse for the Baltimore Bayhawks and Boston Cannons, and played on the United States team in the 2002 and 2006 World Lacrosse Championships where he was named to the All-World Team.

Gait has been inducted into the United States Lacrosse National Hall of Fame and the National Lacrosse League Hall of Fame. He was a four-time All-American for the Syracuse Orange men's lacrosse team from 1987-90 (including first-team honors from 1988 to 1990), and was on three NCAA championship-winning teams.
