Stone Sour performing in 2010. Stone Sour is an American rock band from Des Moines, Iowa. Originally formed in 1992 by vocalist Corey Taylor, guitarist Josh Rand, bassist Shawn Economaki and drummer Joel Ekman, the band was active until 1997, when Taylor left to join Slipknot. [1]
"Through Glass" is a song by American alternative metal band Stone Sour. released as the second single from their second album Come What(ever) May. The track was published online through Yahoo! along with its music video on June 9, 2006, and was released on July 22, 2006, just over one week before the release of the album. [2]
In September 2005, lead singer Corey Taylor announced that Stone Sour would return with a second album. [7] He said that they had written over 30 songs, some during the writing process of Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses), the third album by vocalist Taylor and guitarist James Root's other band Slipknot, and that they were working on demoing the tracks before entering the studio.
Hydrograd is the first album to be produced without founding guitarist Jim Root, as he departed Stone Sour in 2014 to focus more on his and Corey's other band Slipknot. On August 23, 2018, the album's fifth single, "Knievel Has Landed" has been released. Hydrograd is the last album the band released before they entered an indefinite hiatus in 2020.

Stone Sour started working on the album on March 19, 2012. [4] Guitarist Josh Rand confirmed that the album would contain reprises of Part 1. [5] Examples are "The Conflagration" containing the “I’m on my own” lyric from the 2-part song "The Travelers" and "The House of Gold and Bones" containing the bridge riff from "Absolute Zero."
On April 27, 2017, upon the announcement of Stone Sour's sixth studio album, Hydrograd, the band released two singles concurrently; "Fabuless" and "Song #3". [2] The initial release was through streaming, [3] and as an instant grat download when pre-ordering the album.
House of Gold & Bones – Part 1 is the fourth studio album by American rock band Stone Sour, and is the first of two consecutive albums to feature the House of Gold & Bones concept. Reprises of its songs are featured on the second House of Gold & Bones album , which was released in 2013.
