I am fairly new to Photoshop - taking a class actually - and the very basic function of the healing brush is not working at all on the layer on top of the smart object. I already reset the tool, quit Photoshop and opened it again and nothing.
It's just to the right of the Spot Healing tool (bandaid) , not the brush size as the image above shows. I just tried resetting the tool and it worked for me! Fixed other display issues as well with the screen going grey after making edits.
My Healing brush just puts a copy of my image on top of my image and then when I Alt click and my cursor hits the image it locks on and moves to image around. I have done resets on tools and preferences to no avail. Tried opening a new image and shutting down and reopening Ps but nothing works. Upvote.
