I have version C5 PS which I have been using for awhile. Not sure what happen but today my healing brush which is one of the tools I use all the time is not showing up in the tool bar. Is there a way to refresh PS to back to original settings? Or do I need to delete and reinstall PS on my computer...

A ferramenta "Healing Brush Tool" com "Use Legacy" ativado está com um BUG muito estranho. Quando a imagem está "Flat", apenas com uma camada, ela funciona corretamente. Mas se você duplicar a camada, ao usar a ferramenta, ela funciona de um modo estranho, criando um círculo com bordas bem duras e muito maior que o tamanho atual da ferramenta.
The "spot healing" tool is a case in point. I CAN use it if I save my file (NO LAYERS AT ALL, just a Background Layer, so thanks for the stupid and useless FAUX "advice"), quit Photoshop and then re-start the program (which now often takes 30 seconds -- what is this, 1995?), that tool "magically" starts working again.
Yesterday i started getting white outlines when using the Healing brush tool in Photoshop. I've changed multiple settings; including bitrate and RGB/CMYK. I just updated my Photoshop but the probleem seems to still be an issue. The attached files are my settings and a video of the problem.
New to Photoshop and have an early problem. I can't use the spot healing brush tool on a layer. The "sample all layers" option is missing from the tool options bar at the top of the interface. It is there however when I click to the Healing Brush Tool. Any help would be appreciated. I am using a Windows Laptop.
One is called healing brush (and just has a bandaid symbol) This is not the spot healing tool that you are trying to use, this behaves more like the clone stamp tool. It's just to the right of the Spot Healing tool (bandaid) , not the brush size as the image above shows. I just tried resetting the tool and it worked for me! Fixed other display issues as well with the screen going grey after making edits. I was having to zoom in or out just to show my edits. Now it works normally again.
