Saryarka – Steppe and Lakes of Northern Kazakhstan (Kazakh: Сарыарқа - Солтүстік Қазақстан даласы мен көлдері, romanized: Sarıarqa - Soltüstik Qazaqstan dalası men kölderi) is a part of the Kazakh Uplands (known in Kazakh as saryarka, or "yellow range") which has been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Kent Range (Kazakh: Кент тауы) is a range of mountains in Karkaraly District, Karaganda Region, Kazakhstan. [1] Karkaraly city lies 20 kilometers (12 mi) to the northwest of the northern slopes of the Kent Mountains. Part of the range is included in the Karkaraly National Park, a protected area established in 1998.
