City One Shatin (Chinese: 沙田第一城) is a residential precinct in Sha Tin, New Territories, Hong Kong. The estate occupies approximately 1,800,000 square feet (17 hectares) of land. [1] The estate was named City One as it is on Lot 1, Shatin Town. It has a census area population of 24,758 people.

Sha Tin, also spelt Shatin, is a neighbourhood along Shing Mun River in the eastern New Territories, Hong Kong. Administratively, it is part of the Sha Tin District. Sha Tin is one of the neighbourhoods of the Sha Tin New Town project. The new town was founded in 1973 under the New Towns Development Programme of the Hong Kong government.
City One is one of the 36 constituencies in the Sha Tin District in Hong Kong. The constituency returns one district councillor to the Sha Tin District Council, with an election every four years. The City One constituency is loosely based on part of the City One in Sha Tin with an estimated population of 15,938. [3]
