Charles Pierce "Chuck" Davey (May 3, 1925 – December 4, 2002) was an American welterweight boxer and boxing commissioner for the state of Michigan. [1] Davey earned both a Bachelors and Masters degree from Michigan State University.He has been inducted into both the Michigan State University and the State of Michigan Sports Hall of Fames.
