WPC 56 is a British television police procedural series, created and partly written by Dominique Moloney and broadcast on BBC One.The stories feature the first woman police constables (WPC) to join the fictional Midlands Constabulary at Brinford Police Station in 1956.

Women's World (also known as Woman's World) was an Australian television series which aired from 1956 to 1963 on ABC. Originally broadcast in Sydney and later Melbourne, it would appear the last couple years (and first few months) of the series were only broadcast in Sydney.
Carl Spann (Meeker) wakes up early for his first day at a new job and makes his wife Elsa breakfast. Carl briefly speaks with neighbor Mrs. Fergusen before driving to work, and Mrs. Fergusen offers to take Elsa to market, as Elsa has nothing to do in their new location by the sea, having been given advice by doctors to take a break after having a nervous breakdown.
