The Clear Creek Amana Community School District, sometimes abbreviated CCA, is a rural public school district spanning Johnson and Iowa counties in Iowa. With its administrative offices in Oxford, [2] the district spans areas of eastern Iowa and western Johnson counties, encompassing the communities of Oxford, Amana, North Liberty and Tiffin.
The two districts had established a grade-sharing agreement in 2014 where they had joint secondary schools. [5] The Southeast Valley school district was established on July 1, 2023. For the 2023–2024 school year, the school district continued operating the schools from the predecessor districts.
The district covers 130 square miles (340 km 2) and serves the communities of Iowa City, Coralville, Hills, North Liberty, University Heights and the surrounding rural areas. The school district employs over 2,200 people. It is the fifth largest school district in the state of Iowa and the second largest employer in the Iowa City area.
