The Jindo dog (Korean: 진돗개; RR: Jindo-gae) is an indigenous dog [1] [2] native to the island of Jindo in South Korea. It is also known as Jindo-gyeon (진도견; Jindo-gyeon) and formerly known as the Chindo dog. It is one of South Korea's National Treasures.
