The Maldives or Maldive Islands, officially the Republic of Maldives, is an island country in the Indian Ocean formed by a double chain of 26 atolls stretching in a north–south direction off India's Lakshadweep islands, between Minicoy Island and Chagos Archipelago.
The Association of Maldives Engineers (AME) is a professional organization of engineers in the Maldives. It was founded by Aravintharaj Chinnappa in 2018. [ 1 ] The AME joined the World Council of Civil Engineers in 2021.

The opening of the airport coincided with Villa's entry into the aviation industry, the founding of a new airline Villa Air (operating as Flyme), to operate from the airport. [5] The airport opened on October 1, 2011 as a domestic airport. In 2013, it was upgraded to international airport standards.

Kaadedhdhoo Airport (IATA: KDM, ICAO: VRMT) is a domestic airport on the island of Kaadedhdhoo in Gaafu Dhaalu (South Huvadhu) atoll, Maldives. [1] [2] The airport is located 3.7 kilometres (2.0 NM) south of Thinadhoo. [1] It was opened on 10 December 1993, by President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom.
