Dance Vault Remixes: Get It Off/Knock Knock- Remix EP is the first EP by American R&B singer Monica, released in 2004 (see 2004 in music). [1] It features remix-versions of the 2003 songs : "Knock Knock" and song "Get It Off" both from After the Storm in the U.S. Both songs were released as a double A-side and B-side single. [2]
"Knock Knock" received generally positive reviews from music critics. AllMusic editor Andy Kellman felt that the song, along with Elliott's other contributions on the album, provides "a bulk of the most exciting material, with just the right amount of swagger added to the singer's more wide-eyed personality of the '90s."
The song was released as the album's second single on a double A-side single with "Knock Knock", also produced by Elliott. While "Get It Off" failed to chart within the US Billboard Hot 100 , its That Kid Chris Remix, produced by Chris Staropoli, peaked at number 13 on the component Dance Club Songs chart.
Knock Knock was ranked #3 on Pitchfork ' s list of best albums of 2018, with Ryan Dombal complimenting its varied styles and sounds, writing that the album is "a parallel musical universe, one based on a collector's knowledge and a sense of play, where the histories of dance music and hip-hop and psychedelia are all pulled together by the same gravitational force."
Two music video teasers for "Knock Knock" were released on February 17 and 18 at midnight. The first teaser started with the sound of a knock which was heard on the ending of the music video for "TT", while the second teaser showed the members dressed in a variety of outfits that flash by in the stop-motion video.
"TT" is a song recorded by South Korean girl group Twice. The song was released by JYP Entertainment on October 24, 2016, as the lead single from their third extended play Twicecoaster: Lane 1.
