The facility has its origins in the Caernarfon Union Workhouse which opened in 1846. [1] An infirmary was established in the north-east part of the site in 1914. [1] It became the Caernarfon Public Assistance Institution in 1930 and it joined the National Health Service as Eryri Hospital in 1948. [1]

Hospitals in Wales Ysbyty Alltwen (English: Alltwen Hospital) is a health facility in Tremadog , Gwynedd , Wales . It is managed by the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board .
The hospital, which was intended to commemorate local soldiers who had died in the First World War, [2] opened in August 1922. [1] A maternity unit was added in 1932 and, after it joined the National Health Service in 1948, a continuing care ward was opened by the Duke of Edinburgh in 1973. [1]
Their request to have the hospital built was denied. [7] In early November 2004, the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board approved the certificate of need from Adventist Health System to have a hospital built onto Bolingbrook Medical Center. [8] It would be built west of the Interstate 55/Illinois Route 53 Interchange. [9]
