Panorama of Hidden Valley. Hidden Valley is a self-guiding, one-mile loop trail [1] that winds among massive boulders through what was believed to be a legendary cattle rustlers' hideout. [2] It is one of the most popular and scenic hiking trails in Joshua Tree National Park. [3] The area is also a popular rock-climbing area.
Shorter trails, such as the one-mile hike through Hidden Valley, offer a chance to view the beauty of the park without straying too far into the desert. A section of the California Riding and Hiking Trail meanders for 35 miles (56 km) through the western side of the park. [ 42 ]
Hidden Valley is the name given to a wide, mostly unforested floodplain of the Jackson River some miles north of Virginia route 39 and west of US Route 220 in the George Washington National Forest. The Forest Service maintains the recreation area, including camping, [ 1 ] 180 acres of hayfields, and 20 miles of trails.
Hidden Valley Wildlife Management Area is a 6,400-acre (26 km 2) Wildlife Management Area in Washington County, Virginia, along its border with Russell County.The area is typified by mountainous mature hardwood forests that have regenerated on land logged in the early twentieth century; a number of small openings which are also maintained as habitat for local wildlife.
Despite a long run, Camp Leo mostly flourished in the 1950s-'60s. The Daniel Webster Council purchased the property again in 1990. This property was incorporated into the existing camp. Around this same time period, Hidden Valley Scout Reservation became the Griswold Hidden Valley Scout Reservation, in remembrance of Earle A. Griswold. [3]

Hidden Valley Resort is a ski resort in the Laurel Highlands, near the village of Hidden Valley, Pennsylvania. In 2021, the resort was purchased by Vail Resorts , along with Seven Springs and Laurel Mountain .
