My Villagers in a swamp biome. My villagers aren't always swamp villagers when bred, They all live in the swamp biome. I don't understand why they're not all swamp villagers. Please give help or say why they are not. (Java, 1.20.6, PC)

All wood types at spawn. Spawn is the small dark oak forest by the jungle right in between the jungle and dark oak next to the swamp. There is even a mangrove and savannah biome nearby along with a few scattered spruce trees off in the horizon. And a village and a witch hut. Seed: -72172057414440489
Also, the villagers on the other side of the island away from the swamp, spawn as normal plains villagers. Edit 2: Looks like the stronghold did not generate fully, no end portal that I can see in spectator mode. Massive overlapping abandoned mine systems though. The nearest Stronghold is around 2000 blocks away.

I don’t think there’s a fix, you just get it old school, get a clean villager and Just break and replace the lectern until you get a mending book trade, I just tried it with the swamp villager and getting it max lvl didn’t give me mending, so new villager system must not be in my server, which is from the essential 1.20.1 mod, I’ll lyk if old school works but I’m guessing you already ...
Villagers born in a swamp biome look like that. They wear purple jackets and lilypad hats. With this village right up against the swamp, all it took was for two villagers to walk over the border before breeding. Usually it involves transporting villagers a fair distance first or curing zombie villagers encountered in a swamp.
Thanks for comments and help. To clarify for anyone wondering the same thing, its a "50/50" chance for the child villager to get the parents skin or biome skin, but can seem rarer (I think its more like 1/4 for child to get biome skin.)
