Re: Wall of Light spell: I have questions. It is important to note that the wall can be created in thin air. So at about 10’ above your head in a ceiling type formation, it does wonders to blind giant sized attackers while you and your allies attack their feet unhindered.
Light and Darkness Clarification Guide. Just a quick list of every light source and spell I could find. Easy to keep track of which spell dispels each other. There are 3 spells that conjure ACTUAL sunlight, and "Daylight" isn't one of them. First one shows up at 5th level, via Dawn. Keep in mind that upcasting spells may move these around a bit.
Dim light, also called shadows, creates a lightly obscured area. An area of dim light is usually a boundary between a source of bright light, such as a torch, and surrounding Darkness. If you have Silent Image you get motion opening up a smaller Lovecraftian Evard’s Black Tentacles or some portal with faces covered in black oil trying to scream but only burbles ooze out.
The spell creates a huge bonfire. Fire generates light and heat. We have plenty of guidelines to determine at least a range within which its light radii make sense. It certainly generates at least as much light as a torch, and probably no more than a daylight spell. 2022-05-03, 06:50 AM (ISO 8601) Spoilers.
Druid: You get {1+level}d6 healing dice that you recover when you spend a long rest. You can spend up to half your druid level in dice as a bonus action to heal an ally within 120ft. Oh, and your ally gets temporary hit-points equal to the number of dice you spent. Warlock: You get the same number of dice.
