Scrooge: A Christmas Carol is a 2022 animated musical fantasy comedy drama film directed by Stephen Donnelly. It is an adaptation of the 1970 film Scrooge , written by Leslie Bricusse , which itself is based on the 1843 novel A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens .
