Alfa Pendular is the name of the flagship Pendolino high-speed tilting train of Portuguese state railway company CP. [1] It connects the cities of Guimarães , Braga , Porto , Aveiro , Coimbra , Santarém , Lisbon , Albufeira and Faro , among others at speeds of up to 220 km/h (135 mph).
The main station is operated by the national railway operator Comboios de Portugal (CP), which operates the Alfa Pendular, Intercidades and CP Regional routes, as well as a special service during the summer, the InterRegional line. The Alfa Pendular service connects Faro to the North and terminates in Porto.
