Farrow presented his bottling and corking machine at the Paris Exposition Universelle in 1855, and his “Patent Elutriator, for Decanting Wine, &c.” [9] at the Royal Society's 1858 Exhibition of Inventions. Few items from that time can be found marked with Farrow's name. Porcelain labels for wine bins and three types of corkscrew have survived.
