Thirukkavalampadi or Gopalakrishna Perumal Temple is located in Thirunangur in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu.It is dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu.Constructed in the Dravidian style of architecture, the temple is glorified in the Nalayira Divya Prabandham, the early medieval Tamil canon of the Alvar saints from the 6th–9th centuries CE.

Image of the festival deity. The temple is open from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The temple priests perform the puja (rituals) during festivals and on a daily basis. As at other Vishnu temples of Tamil Nadu, the priests belong to the Vaishnava community, from the Brahmin class.
The image of the presiding deity is sported in the sanctum in standing posture facing east. The temple tank is located opposite to the gopuram. [5] There are three holes in the gopuram, through which the rays of the sun fall on the image of the presiding deity. As per the legend, Surya, the son god, is believed to worship Vishnu round the year. [2]
