I recently switched to Microsoft 365 Online and don't have full access to the desktop versions of Word and Excel. When I open a Word or Excel file from my desktop it still opens it in the desktop application, but I would like it to automatically open in the online version. I have Window 11 Home version.

Report abuse. The online versions of Office programs are not designed to be replacements for the desktop editions and do not have all the commands you'll find in Office for Mac.
