However, It has started locking up my system completely, again, every time I launch the Origin App. I am running it as an administrator, and have lowered the UAC to 1 tick above disabled. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
Go to "C:\ProgramData" and delete the the "Origin" folder. If you prefer, you can also rename it, or move it to a different location, to create a backup. Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin" and delete the "OriginThinSetupInternal.exe" file. You can also create a backup of this file, the same way you did in the previous step, if you wish.

Click on Origin and uninstall. Reinstall Origin; Try running Origin as an administrator: Close the Origin client. Right-click the Origin client icon on your desktop (or in the Origin directory if not on your desktop) and click Run As Administrator. This runs the Origin client as an administrator account, and should let the game install.
