The story follows Kumiko Yamaguchi, the granddaughter of a yakuza boss and teacher at an all-male private high school. The manga was adapted into a three-season television drama, with Yukie Nakama in the title role, which was broadcast on Nippon TV from 2002 to 2008, followed by a theatrical film, which premiered in 2009.

It started in February 2008. The manga is the second work in Motonaga's Yakuza Girl series, after the light novel Yakuza Girl Missile Heart (ヤクザガール・ミサイルハート, Yakuza Gāru Misairu Hāto) from 2006 which has a similar setting. It has been licensed in French by Soleil Manga. [1]

The Yakuza's Bias (Japanese: やくざの推しごと, Hepburn: Yakuza no Oshigoto) is a Japanese web manga series written and illustrated by Teki Yatsuda. It was serialized on Ichijinsha 's digital platform Comic Pool [ ja ] from June 2021 to May 2022, with its chapters collected in two tankōbon volumes.
The manga is licensed digitally in English by Kodansha USA. A 10-episode anime television series adaptation, produced by J.C.Staff and directed by Chiaki Kon, aired from July to September 2018 on BS11 and other channels. A live-action adaptation, Back Street Girls: Gokudols, was released in February 2019.
The series is licensed by One Peace Books. An anime television series adaptation by Feel aired from April to June 2018. The story follows yakuza member Yoshifumi Nitta, who ends up taking care of a mysterious girl with telekinetic powers named Hina who inexplicably appeared in his apartment.
Yowayowa Sensei (よわよわ先生, lit. ' Weak-willed Teacher ') is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kamio Fukuchi. It began serialization in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in November 2022 and has been compiled into ten tankōbon volumes as of December 2024.
