The fibular veins are deep veins that help carry blood from the lateral compartment of the leg. They drain into the posterior tibial veins , which in turn drain into the popliteal vein . The fibular veins accompany the fibular artery .

External pudendal veins; Small saphenous vein; Deep veins of lower limb Femoral vein; Profunda femoris vein; Popliteal vein. Sural veins; Anterior tibial veins; Posterior tibial veins. Fibular ...
The anterior compartment of the leg is supplied by the deep fibular nerve (deep peroneal nerve), a branch of the common fibular nerve. The nerve contains axons from the L4, L5, and S1 spinal nerves. Blood for the compartment is supplied by the anterior tibial artery, which runs between the tibialis anterior and extensor digitorum longus muscles.
The tributaries of the popliteal vein include: Veins that correspond to branches given off by the popliteal artery (see popliteal artery). the small saphenous vein, which perforates the deep fascia and passes between the two heads of the gastrocnemius muscle to end in the popliteal vein. [1] [2] the fibular veins.
The deep veins of the lower limb include the common femoral vein, femoral vein, and the deep femoral vein; the popliteal vein, the tibial, and fibular veins. In the common femoral vein one valve is located above the saphenofemoral junction called the suprasaphenic valve. There are sometimes two valves in the same tract.
Superficial fibular (peroneal) nerve and fibular artery: Deep posterior compartment: Tibialis posterior; Flexor hallucis longus; Flexor digitorum longus; Popliteus; Tibial nerve, posterior tibial artery and posterior tibial vessels such as the fibular artery: Superficial posterior compartment: Gastrocnemius; Soleus; Plantaris; Tibial nerve
The fibular artery arises from the bifurcation of tibial-fibular trunk into the fibular and posterior tibial arteries in the upper part of the leg proper, just below the knee. It runs towards the foot in the deep posterior compartment of the leg, just medial to the fibula. It supplies a perforating branch to both the lateral and anterior ...
It is accompanied by a deep vein, the posterior tibial vein, along its course. It passes just posterior to the medial malleolus of the tibia, but anterior to the Achilles tendon. [1] It passes into the foot deep to the flexor retinaculum of the foot. [1] It runs through the tarsal tunnel. [2]
