How to record screen with Quick Time in less than 4k resolution? Hello, Whenever I record what goes on my Mac's screen, Quick Time exports a 4k resolution recording. The resulting file is rather large. Is there any way for me to record my screen with Quick Time in less than 4k resolution?

Can't find screen recording I recorded my screen for around 30 minutes. When I stopped, the recording showed up at the right bottom corner of the screen as it usually does. However, it didn't appear on my desktop. I used finder to try and locate the recording, but I still can't find it. Does anybody know how to solve this issue?

I'm looking for Screen Recorder software for 10.4 - I understand there's a version of Quick Time which actually has a built-in feature to enable 'on-screen' recording. I would also pay for such a software program. I searched the internet and came up with this, (10.4 Min Syst. Requirement).

to record the mac's internal sound with quicktime (or also “shift-command-5”) you need additional software. i use the free BlackHole Virtual Audio Driver. then you can choose "BlackHole 2ch" in the recording options instead of "Built-in Microphone."

The exact supported hardware is not listed here; contact them for info. in case this was intended for early Intel Mac 10.4 OS X. It was a good product even. before the 2006 introduction of coreduo/core2duo processing architecture to Mac.
