The Wildwoods Convention Center is a convention center and indoor arena in Wildwood, New Jersey. Built in 2001 to replace an older Convention Hall, the center has exhibition space of 260,000 sq ft (24,000 m 2). The building includes the Oceanfront Arena, an indoor arena that can seat up to 7,000 spectators.
When Barnes first started to rent the pier, he had to destroy the entrance of the Wildwood Convention Hall to accommodate enough room for new rides. [3] The end of the Wildwood Convention Hall, which was an arcade and some shops, was later converted to a dark ride. Eventually by the mid 60's the building was torn down.
