The station on 94.3 FM at Garden Grove signed on in 1961 as KGGK, later to become KTBT, KORJ, KIKF ("KIK-FM", a country music station), and KMXN [1] before finally KEBN.. On November 18, 1994, KEBN and KBUA, the other area station on 94.3 FM began simulcasting the same country music format and 94.3 in San Fernando became KYKF.
Radiorama assumed operational control of the station in 2009. It was briefly rebranded La Picuda before becoming a franchise of the Ke Buena national format from Televisa Radio. XEEBC migrated to FM in 2011 as XHEBC-FM 97.9. The AM transmitter went off the air in 2016; that year, the station relaunched as Fiesta Mexicana.
