Perfect timing really with v3.5 out so I've been playing around with it and I *think* I might have stumbled across something promising. Using this method you can: Achieve much better audio quality. Have much better control over the sound. Use artist names to sound like without any issues from moderation. Add an intro consistently to a song ...
According to my experience, some definitions of specific authorial styles, specific soundtracks, or well-defined characterizations work quite well. Some examples: Terokkar Forest Soundtrack, Interstellar Soundtrack, Prelude for Cello Solo (you will certainly summon the spirit of J.S.Bach :D), Minecraft Melancholic (redundancy enhances :D ...
According to Suno's FAQ, they do not give you commercial license for songs you made while on the free tier, even if you later subscribe. However, legally speaking, they do not have a real legal precedent to be able to claim that. Remember that established law overrides private companies and their TOS. According to my understanding of current ...
A year ago I went pretty deep on the AI music generators and tossed them aside in disgust thinking they would need another 5-10 years. It’s been just a year and this is 1-2 orders of magnitude better. Imagine this technology in 5 years. I think it’ll absolutely influence music and we’ll have a bunch of one hit wonders.
This software is AMAZING it has sharpened my vocal delivery in my NON-AI music and broadened ideas for rhyme patterns and layouts. You can literally mash-up 10+ styles of music i.e "Haunting g-funk horror doom trap r&b" CRAZY! I've also compiled a list of words you cannot use: kill, razor, shoot, pussy, slut, cut, slit, die, rape, choke ...
There are 2 copyrights with every song - master and publishing. You’re talking about the ‘master’ recording which, as you say, isn’t copied by AI. The publishing represents the underlying composition. When AI or a human ‘hears’ that song, then it’s drawn on as influence to make new music.
Art is subjective, and the emotion and purpose is still created by humans. It seems like you haven't tried the "tool" before making this rash judgement, otherwise you would realize that, for now, you still need to be able to write good lyrics (ai generated lyrics suck), and be able to arrange well crafted song structure as for now AI only creates fairly generic song structures, but has the ...
purpleguitar1984. Thoughts on Suno AI from a working musicians Perspective. Ok, so background I was trained for the first 21 years of my life as classical musician yadda yadda conducted a few concerts then started to learn about pop/rock music and kinda combined the best of both worlds etc. The point being I have been a working musician most my ...
Here's some thoughts. Share your thoughts in the comments. As of now, at least in USA, the AI generated music cannot be copyrighted, However, Suno AI music creators can still implement some copyright safety. The important thing is to use your human written lyrics using "Custom" mode in Suno. Then at least you can claim copyright on the lyrics.
I'm getting obsessed with Suno. As someone who sadly was never encouraged to play any intruments or sing, but adores music (I consider myself a melomaniac), Suno has been amazing and has brought me so much joy. It's just fun to play with it. I wanna share some of my results with the community. Let me know what you think :)
