Christopher Comstock (born May 19, 1992), known professionally as Marshmello, is an American electronic music producer and DJ. His songs "Silence" (featuring Khalid), "Wolves" (with Selena Gomez), "Friends" (with Anne-Marie), "Happier" (with Bastille), and "Alone" have each received multi-platinum certifications in several countries, and peaked within the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100.
Marshmello's third single "Alone", however, became his first song to debut on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number twenty-eight, and chart in Canada. It was released via the Canadian independent record label Monstercat. The song was also certified platinum in Canada (Music Canada) and the United States (RIAA).
He uploaded an original song and a few remixes to the platform in 2015 and quickly caught the attention of EDM legends like Skrillex, who reposted one of Marshmello’s songs.
