When I was in 4th grade my elementary school took us to st Augustine for a field trip to see some of the historical sites like the fort, fountain of youth, st George street and the school house, etc. We stopped for lunch at the old jail but didn’t go inside. I just remember sitting in the court yard area eating lunch.
