Facebook Marketplace search is TERRIBLE - so I've started paying attention to the URL and how search works, and building out a list of custom search combinations not possible otherwise.

I used to go with people to buy cars from Facebook marketplace. I would say that 90% of them are sketchy, sometimes the car, the seller or both. The ones where they would have you meet in a supermarket parking lot were always fun but the cars always had red flags. There was one car we looked at and the meet location was an independent body shop.

Interestingly I do have a "Make offer" button on some listings. So maybe if you want something and the seller hasn't enabled "Allow offers" on their listing, you can ask them to make a new listing with that option enabled, then share a link to the new listing. And you can then make an offer for their original price.
