While fighting the Hollow, Isshin attempted to use his Bankai, but was slashed in the back by the creators of this Hollow, Aizen, Gin Ichimaru and Kaname Tōsen. Masaki arrived and saved Isshin, while Aizen stopped Tōsen from killing her, due to finding her intriguing.
