Birmingham City Women F.C. is an English women's football club affiliated with Birmingham City F.C. As founding members of the FA Women's Super League in 2011, the team currently plays in the second-highest division of women's football in England. The team plays their home games at St Andrew's, the home of Birmingham City F.C.
The 2020–21 Birmingham City W.F.C. season was the club's 53rd season in existence and their 10th in the FA Women's Super League, the highest level of the football pyramid, having been founding members of the league in 2011.
Lucy Jane Quinn (born 29 September 1993) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Women's Championship club Birmingham City. Born in England, she is a member of the Republic of Ireland women's national team. She joined Birmingham City for a second time in 2021, having also played for Portsmouth, Yeovil Town and Tottenham Hotspur.
On 7 November 2021, Worsey made her senior debut for Birmingham City in the Women's Super League aged 16 in a 3–0 defeat to Reading during the 2021–22 season. [4] [5]On 1 July 2023, she signed her first professional contract with Birmingham City, [5] having made a total of 6 appearances in the Women's Super League and Women's Championship.
