The Loud House was created by Chris Savino for Nickelodeon. Savino based the series on his own experiences growing up in a large family. [ 8 ] Early in development, the Loud family was going to be composed of rabbits, but this was terminated when an executive, Jenna Boyd, asked Savino to make them human.
