William Temple Memorial Church is a parish church in Wythenshawe, Manchester, dedicated to the bishop William Temple. It is a Grade II listed building, designed by George Pace in the Modernist style, and built in 1964–1965. [1] It has a pitched roof with dormer windows.

Mattie Moss Clark (born Mattie Juliet Moss; March 26, 1925 – September 22, 1994) was an American gospel choir director and the mother of The Clark Sisters, a gospel vocal group.
She began singing in the church choir at the age of six, and by the time she was 12, she had begun touring and recording with the Greater Williams Temple church choir. Under the choir directorship of Hubert J. Williams, Williams performed and recorded with Shirley Caesar, The Winans, Dr. Mattie Moss Clark, and the Reverend James Cleveland.

Roberts Temple Church of God in Christ was founded by Elder William Roberts in 1916. Its services were held in various Chicago buildings until 1922 when its permanent building was constructed at 4021 S. State Street. [2] The church was initially built as a one-story brick structure. A second story was added in 1927.
