The Omni Mount Washington Resort is a historic luxury resort hotel in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, United States, near Mount Washington. It was designed by Charles Alling Gifford . In 1944, it hosted the Bretton Woods Conference , which established the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank .

The resort is located on U.S. Route 302 in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The terrain occupies 464 acres (1.88 km 2) adjacent to the White Mountain National Forest. 92% of the trails have snowmaking. There are 98 trails currently, and the resort receives an average of over 200 inches (5,100 mm) of snow per year.

The ravine is named after botanist Edward Tuckerman who studied alpine plants and lichens in the area in the 1830s and 1840s. According to the New England Ski Museum, the first recorded use of skis on Mount Washington was by a Dr. Wiskott of Breslau, Germany, who skied on the mountain in 1899, while the first skier in Tuckerman Ravine was John S. Apperson of Schenectady, New York, in April 1914.
