The 9th Space Division (9th SD) is an inactive United States Air Force organization. Its last assignment was with Air Force Space Command , being stationed at Patrick Air Force Base , Florida. It was inactivated on 1 October 1991.

It was established on 1 September 1982 as Space Command (SPACECOM), the first dedicated space command in the United States Armed Forces. On 15 November 1985, it was renamed Air Force Space Command (AFSPC or AFSPACECOM) to distinguish it from U.S. Space Command, Naval Space Command, and Army Space Command.
