P. N. Gadgil Jewellers Limited, also known as Purshottam Narayan Gadgil Jewellers, is an Indian jewellery company founded by Ganesh Gadgil in Sangli in 1832. It is one of the oldest jewellery companies in India, known for its production of jewellery distinctive to the Maharashtra region.
Gadgil died on 10 January 2014, aged 98, in Pune. [8] He was succeeded in business by his son and grandson. [9] In late 2014, the Dajikaka Gadgil Gold Museum was opened at the P. N. Gadgil Jewellers store in Hadapsar. [10] In August 2016, he became the namesake of the Dajikaka Karandak, an inter-collegiate one-act play competition. [11]

[1] His son Vitthalrao Gadgil represented Congress later as minister and ideologue. His grandson Anant Gadgil also went on to become a politician. [2]
