Matthew Kelly Sharp (born September 22, 1969) [1] is an American singer-songwriter and musician. Until 1998, he was the bassist for the rock band Weezer , which he co-founded in 1992. He appears on their first two albums, the Blue Album (1994) and Pinkerton (1996).
