Base Piranha Solution[edit] I noticed that this article only concerns acidic Piranha Solution (sulphuric acid + hydrogen peroxide). There is an alternative mixture that uses ammonium hydroxide (NH 3 (aq)) in place of sulphuric acid. As far as I can tell, the two solutions are very similar, but have a few differences.
