Mary's Danish was an alternative rock band that was formed in Los Angeles, California in the late 1980s which released four albums, with the last in 1992. Mary's Danish blended a musical mixture of rock, funk, country and soul elements.
American Standard is the third and final album by the American band Mary's Danish, released in 1992. [1] [2] The band supported the album by participating in a Rock the Vote tour, following it with a tour with the Darling Buds. Prior to joining the band, Bradley was the drummer for jazz trumpeter Chuck Mangione from 1977 to 1981, and had been a member of the alternative rock band Mary's Danish in the early 1990s. [4] Crazy Town's debut album, The Gift of Game, was released in November 1999, having been recorded earlier that year.
Tony rejoined DFL in 1994. Chris "Wag" Wagner, bass player for Mary's Danish, played with DFL briefly in 1993. As did Eugene Gore, violinist on the Beastie Boys Ill Communication release. Brian Baker of Minor Threat and Bad Religion, also played bass briefly during this time. In 1994, Tom Barta joined DFL on bass until the band broke up in 1997.
His early career included a stint in the power pop band Louis and Clark, [8] which featured Louis Gutierrez of Mary's Danish and Joie Calio, bass player and vocalist for dada. In his more than 30-year career, Gurley has published over 300 songs and has sold over 1,000,000 records.
