The crested caracara (Caracara plancus), also known as the Mexican eagle, [3] is a bird of prey in the falcon family, Falconidae (formerly in the genus Polyborus). It is found from the southern and southeastern United States through Mexico (where it is present in every state) and Central and South America, as well as some Caribbean islands .
Anhingas are often called "snake-birds" because of their long thin neck, which gives a snake-like appearance when they swim with their bodies submerged. The males have black and dark-brown plumage, an erectile crest on the nape, and a larger bill than the female. The females have much paler plumage especially on the neck and underparts.
The female lays an average of 5–15 elongated eggs beneath rotting wood, boards, rocks and rotting vegetation. The eggs hatch after about 60 days. Like other members of the king snake family, the Sinaloan milk snake sometimes eats other snakes and does have at least some immunity to their venom.
The Mexican milksnake has distinct red, black and cream or yellow-colored banding, wrapping around the body. This coloration is, likely, an evolutionary survival tactic to ward-off potential predators by mimicking the venomous coral snake which shares much of the same habitat; this has led to the species sometimes being called a coral snake-"mimic".

Crocodiles tend to congregate in freshwater habitats, such as rivers, lakes, wetlands, and sometimes brackish water. They are ambush hunters who usually wait for their prey, generally fish or land animals, to approach, before attacking them.

The golden eagle is considered the official bird of ...
