SS Dolphin IV (formerly Zion of Zim Lines), was built in Germany as war reparations for Israel in 1956. [1] She subsequently sailed as Amelia De Melo and Ithaca.In 1978, the ship was renamed Dolphin IV when she sailed under sales and marketing agreement for Paquet Ulysses Cruises, which was part of Paquet French Cruises.
It was renamed Aegean I whilst on charter to Renaissance Cruises in 1996. Then the ship operated for Golden Sun Cruises on Mediterranean cruises since 1997–1998, still owned by Dolphin Hellas. In 2005, she was to be bought by Louis Hellenic Cruise Lines, but the deal fell through due to legal problems, and the ship was laid up.

In 1996 she was chartered to Dolphin Cruise Line and renamed IslandBreeze. [6] In 1998 the ship was sold to Premier Cruise Line, [7] which renamed her The Big Red Boat III. [3] Following the bankruptcy of Premier Cruise Line in 2000, [8] The Big Red Boat III was laid up until 2003 when she was sold to scrappers in Alang, India. [9]
Another change of ownership was in order for the ship in 1997 when Dolphin Cruise Line, Premier Cruises and Seawind Cruises merged to form Premier Cruise Line. OceanBreeze was re-painted in the new company's colours, with a dark-blue funnel and a blue-and-yellow hull, but otherwise her service continued as it had before. [1]
MV Delphin was a cruise ship owned by the Mauritius-based Vishal Cruises Pvt. Ltd., under charter to the Germany-based Passat Kreuzfahrten.Built 1975 by Oy Wärtsilä Ab Turku Shipyard in Finland and renovated 1986 and 1993 by Lloyd Werft, Bremerhaven, Germany and got converted into a cruise ship, with her bow unloading doors permanently welded.
