"Ohio Is for Lovers", also known as simply "Ohio", is a song by American rock band Hawthorne Heights, released as the debut single from their debut studio album, The Silence in Black and White, which was released in 2004. According to lead singer JT Woodruff, the song is about going on tour whilst leaving their girlfriends in Ohio. [10]

The song's title is a reference to "Ohio Is for Lovers" by Hawthorne Heights. The album's final song, "Pink Wednesday," is an acoustic rock song in the style of Tigers Jaw with lyrics inspired by the 2004 film Mean Girls.
