Ga East Municipal Assembly is one of the twenty-nine districts in Greater Accra Region, Ghana. [1] Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Ga District in 1988, until the eastern part of the district was split off to create Ga East District in 2004; thus the remaining part has been renamed as Ga West District.
