Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) is a public engineering university in Bangladesh, located at Mirpur Cantonment, Dhaka. Government of Bangladesh established MIST in 1998 for providing B.Sc., M.Sc., M.Phil. and PhD degrees in engineering. [2] MIST is the only engineering university of the Ministry of Defence of Bangladesh.
Many attend the Military Institute of Science and Technology while serving. Officers of the Army Medical Corps are recruited after graduation from both military or civil medical colleges.
