Tales from the Cryptkeeper is an animated children's horror television series made by Canadian studio Nelvana. The series was broadcast on ABC in the United States, and on ITV in the United Kingdom. It is based on the 1950s EC Comics series Tales from the Crypt and the live-action television series of the same name, which aired concurrently on HBO.

N. Brock Winkless IV (October 12, 1959 – July 18, 2015) [1] was an American puppeteer and visual effects technician. He was the puppeteer of Chucky in the 1988 horror film, Child's Play, and its first three sequels, [2] as well as the puppeteer of the Crypt Keeper in several episodes of the HBO television series, Tales from the Crypt.
In addition to the Cryptkeeper, EC Comics' mascots The Vaultkeeper and The Old Witch made frequent appearances, often fighting with the Cryptkeeper for control of the show's hosting duties. The series lasted three seasons on ABC with 39 episodes. The third season was on CBS in 1999, with 13 episodes, under the title New Tales from the Cryptkeeper.
In an animated edition of "The Three Little Pigs", narrated by the Cryptkeeper himself, the Big Bad Wolf (voiced by Bobcat Goldthwait) slaughters Drinky Pig (voiced by Brad Garrett) and Smokey Pig (voiced by Charlie Adler), leaving the third pig, Dudley (voiced by Cam Clarke), accused of the murders and found guilty by a rigged jury of wolves.
