New Trier High School (/ ˈ t r ɪər /, also known as New Trier Township High School or NTHS) is a public four-year high school whose main campus for sophomores through seniors is in Winnetka, Illinois, United States, with a campus in Northfield, Illinois, for first-year classes and district administration.
New Trier Township (/ ˈ t r ɪər /) is one of 29 townships in Cook County, Illinois, United States.As of the 2020 census, its population was 57,371. [1]The township contains New Trier High School, but the borders of the school district do not line up exactly with the borders of the township.
The original school was located on Vernon Avenue in Glencoe, IL. The second location was in Niles, IL. The school is a member of the Illinois High School Association and the Independent Schools' League. The Academy was named one of the best 50 Catholic secondary schools in the nation in 2008 and is on the 2008 Catholic High School Honor Roll. [2]
